I'll admit that I was trying to impress my older sister's friend, as I think she's really pretty. But she'd never given me the time of day before. I knew she was really into a certain cheesy popstar and, in particular, loved this one song. One day when my sister's friend came round to our house, I got the karaoke machine on, dressed up like him and as they came downstairs, began to sing her favourite song. I thought she would probably just laugh at me but she told me I'd made her day. Then she asked me out on a date to the cinema! That's more than I ever expected - now I reckon you should just go for it!
