An engaging and entertaining stimulus film based around brother and sister, Andy (12) and Caroline (14) throwing their first 'proper' party, nervously supervised by mum.

Students are able to watch their preparations and exploits as the evening progresses, sharing their social embarrassment and teen angst.

  • Andy and Caroline are seen arguing in time-honoured sibling fashion.
  • Caroline learns that looks aren't everything and that there are other factors that make you attractive to other people.
  • Nick, the Captain of the football team, makes an entrance - how does he look so 'fit'?
  • Andy gets some unwanted practical advice from his sister's friend.
  • A dirty trick is played on one of the party guests, leaving Ellie, Caroline's best friend with a dilemma.

The Making of the DVD

The Clear Confidence film was developed to put across some important facts and thought provoking ideas to get students thinking.
